Annapolis Royal Nursing Home is a 51 bed nursing home with two respite beds. Situated on the outskirts of Annapolis Royal.
The nursing home has been in operation since 1966. Prior to that,it was a level one guest home. The original home was built around 1900 as a wedding gift by a gentleman, for his daughter. The Home has undergone many renovations/expansions: 1968, 1985, and the most recent in 1999/2000.
In spite of all the changes, the Home has maintained the atmosphere that was present in1900. The front entrance, as well as the staircase and lobby have been retained in their original state, offering a warm welcome to all who enter.
Annapolis Royal Nursing Home was purchased by The MacLeod Group on Nov. 1, 2007.
